South Africa — The mother of Tshegofatso Mothobi, a 21-year-old university student who vanished without a trace on May 20, 2025, has made a tearful, public plea for her daughter’s safe return — a cry for help that has gripped the hearts of many across the country.

In an emotional interview with eNCA, Tshegofatso’s mother, barely able to hold back tears, begged for any information that could bring her daughter home. “If anyone knows where she is, please, I am begging you — just help us find her. We just want her safe,” she said.

Tshegofatso was last seen leaving her student residence and has not made contact since. No confirmed sightings have been reported, and her phone has remained off. The mystery surrounding her disappearance has stirred growing concern among fellow students, community members, and authorities.
