In a moving and heartfelt tribute, Minister of Police Mr. Senzo Mchunu delivered a solemn eulogy at the Official Funeral of Constable Boipelo Senoge in Bloemfontein, honoring her unwavering service, courage, and ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Constable Senoge, described as a dedicated and fearless officer, tragically lost her life while serving her community—an act that has left a deep void within the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the nation at large. Her funeral was attended by high-ranking officials, colleagues, friends, and grieving family members, all gathered to celebrate her life and bravery.

In his address, Minister Mchunu hailed Senoge as a symbol of integrity and commitment. “She stood firm against crime, never backing down from danger, and always placing the safety of others before her own,” he said. “Her courage speaks volumes about the kind of officer—and human being—she was.”

Mchunu emphasized the importance of remembering fallen officers not just in words, but through action—renewing efforts to protect law enforcement members and supporting their families. He also called on South Africans to stand united in supporting police who risk their lives to uphold justice and safety.

Constable Senoge’s passing serves as a somber reminder of the risks faced daily by police officers. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her fellow officers and the many lives she touched.
