According to police, the man was spending time with acquaintances at a local residence when one of the individuals, described as a long-time friend, began acting inappropriately. The man reportedly made an unexpected personal advance, saying, “I want you to be my wife.”
When the advance was declined, the situation escalated, and the man says he was pressured and made to feel unsafe. He was then allegedly taken to a nearby location where, according to his report, the boundaries of consent were not respected.
After the incident, the man turned to trusted friends for support. With their encouragement, he reported the matter to the authorities. Police responded promptly, and the suspect was arrested. He is currently facing charges related to the reported incident, including kidnapping and sexual assault.
