In a shocking twist to the brazen courtroom murder of 50-year-old taxi owner Dingalomoya Chintso earlier this month, a 24-year-old suspect has been taken into police custody. The suspect, who was arrested over the weekend, is set to appear in court on Tuesday, April 22, where he will face murder charges.

The arrest comes just days after the apprehension of 35-year-old Shireen Matthews, a key figure believed to have masterminded the hit on Chintso. Matthews, who is reportedly tied to the notorious Junky Funky Kids gang, is slated for a bail hearing on Wednesday, April 23.

Authorities are not stopping hereβ€”investigations are ongoing, with law enforcement hinting that more arrests could be on the horizon. The shocking daylight shooting in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court has left the community and law enforcement agencies on edge, as they continue to unravel the dark motives behind this brutal act.
