The murder of Ekurhuleni metro cop Banele Skosana has taken a shocking turn, with his wife now accused of orchestrating the brutal crime. Skosana, 33, was tragically shot dead at his spaza shop in Kwa-Thema on Friday, 7 February. His wife, who was reportedly grieving his death, was arrested a week later on 14 February while lying on a mattress, suspected of hiring hitmen to carry out the murder.
The investigation revealed that the wife allegedly hired a group of hitmen, known as izinkabi, to kill her husband. One of the hitmen was apprehended at Kwa-Thema hostel, where he revealed that he and two other accomplices were hired to murder the metro cop.
