Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has etched his name into the club’s history books by reaching an incredible 100 goals for the Tshwane giants.
The Namibian international hit the century mark in Tuesday’s Betway Premiership clash against AmaZulu, cementing his status as one of the league’s all-time greats. Prior to the match at Lucas Moripe Stadium, Shalulile was just one goal away from the milestone.

With this achievement, he becomes only the second player in PSL history to score 100 goals for a single club, joining Sundowns legend Daniel ‘Mambush’ Mudau, who netted 110 goals during his career.
Shalulile now has his sights set on breaking Siyabonga Nomvethe’s long-standing PSL record of 129 goals. Sitting at 126 career goals, he is just three strikes away from setting a new benchmark in South African football.
Having reached this feat in only 194 appearances for Sundowns, Shalulile has surpassed Mudau’s record at an unprecedented pace, making him the fastest player in the club’s history to hit the century mark.
Since his arrival from Highlands Park in the 2020/21 season, the 31-year-old has been a dominant force in front of goal, consistently delivering for the reigning PSL champions.
With plenty of games left this season, Shalulile could soon write another chapter in history by becoming the PSL’s all-time leading goal scorer.
