This suspension will leave a gap in the midfield for Pirates, and coach Jose Riveiro will need to find a suitable replacement. Options could include Selaelo Raseboja or Ndabayithethwa Ndlondo, or perhaps even a surprise return for Miguel Timm.

Riveiro explained that while Makhaula’s role remains more defensive, he’s been contributing offensively when the team has possession.
“We defend as a unit, and when we have the ball, we attack as a team,” Riveiro shared. “Makhaula has been impressive for us, especially with his attacking contributions recently. We also benefit from players like Dlamini, who’s consistently been performing at a high level in the league.”
