DUMISANI ZUMA OPENS UP ABOUT HIS REPORTED TROUBLES
Dumisani Zuma was once seen as a rising star at Kaizer Chiefs, but his career took a hit due to alcohol-related incidents. In a recent interview, Zuma denied having an alcohol problem, explaining, “No, I don’t have an alcohol problem. I was only caught once with a breathalyser, and that was the day I parted ways with the team because I wasn’t okay anymore.”
Zuma continued, “It was a mutual decision, and after that incident, I came to training, and my teammates greeted me differently. They told me to check my Instagram because it had already been posted.”
Reflecting on his time at Chiefs, Zuma added, “I never went to rehab. After my accident, I emailed the manager to retire, as I was overwhelmed. I missed training, and they suggested I speak to a psychologist.”
FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS PLAYER SIYETHEMBA SITHEBE DEPARTS RICHARDS BAY
Siyethemba Sithebe, the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, is now on the lookout for a new team after leaving Richards Bay following just eight appearances in seven months. Reports suggest Sithebe’s departure was due to a fallout with the coaching staff.
Sithebe spoke about the incident, saying, “As a senior player, you sometimes step up when things aren’t going well. Emotions were high after a loss, and I didn’t realize my actions would lead to this outcome. I voiced my opinion about some coaching decisions in the dressing room, but I didn’t expect things to end this way.”
Sithebe added, “The situation at Richards Bay wasn’t too bad, but I did feel some coaching decisions after losses could have been better.”
