Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly targeting AmaZulu’s Tshepang Moremi, who has also caught the eye of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 24-year-old winger has been in outstanding form for Usuthu this season, netting two goals in 21 league appearances. With an estimated value of R7 million, Moremi is proving to be a highly sought-after asset for any of the three major clubs.
According to Soccer Laduma, Chiefs have entered the race to sign Moremi and will face tough competition from Pirates and Sundowns. A source revealed to the publication that Chiefs are preparing to make an offer for the winger, seeing him as a key addition to their squad as they look to restructure for the upcoming season.
“There has been interest from several clubs, including Chiefs, Pirates, and Sundowns. However, AmaZulu is not willing to part with him unless the offer is irresistible, especially considering the competitive salary they currently offer,” the source explained.
Despite the interest from other clubs, it will ultimately depend on AmaZulu’s willingness to release Moremi. Kaizer Chiefs, who have already made several signings this season, are determined to strengthen their squad in their pursuit of top honours next season.
