UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones recently delved into his ancestry by taking a DNA test, which revealed fascinating insights into his African heritage. The results confirmed that Jones possesses 96% African ancestry, showcasing a rich connection to several regions across the continent. At the forefront of his lineage is a 42% Nigerian ancestry, which has sparked excitement and pride among Nigerians. Additionally, Jones’ heritage includes 24% from Cameroon, Congo, and Southern Bantu regions, 18% from Mali, and 5% from Benin and Togo. The remaining 4% traces back to England, Wales, and Northwestern Europe.
