Fadlu Davids Unhappy with Simba SC’s Performance Despite 4-0 Victory Over KMC

by Nyiko - Mbono News

Simba SC head coach Fadlu Davids has voiced his frustration despite his team’s dominant 4-0 victory over KMC on Wednesday. The win pushed Simba to the top of the table, with a solid 2-0 lead at halftime. However, Davids was not pleased with his side’s performance in the early moments of the second half, when KMC seemed to find some rhythm, which caused concern for the coach.

Although Simba quickly regained control, scoring two goals in three minutes to seal the 4-0 win, Davids remained critical of the brief period where his team let their standards slip. Speaking to the media in Tanzania, he emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards and not allowing complacency, as Simba has set ambitious goals for the season.

“I’m not happy with the first 10 minutes of the second half,” said Davids. “I’m still waiting for a match where we can have a flawless performance from start to finish. Today, we allowed the opponents two shots. If we can prevent the opposition from having any shots and continue scoring four or more goals, I will be satisfied.”
