According to Dlamini, Malema will present the party’s political report at the conference, and he is widely anticipated to be re-elected unopposed. “The red berets are ready to kick off the conference, with an open session to be live-streamed,” Dlamini said. He further emphasized the party’s focus on rebuilding and advancing the struggle for economic freedom, as the EFF prepares to strengthen its influence in the political landscape.

EFF Treasurer General Omphile Maotwe provided an update on the conference’s organization, noting that over 1,500 delegates had been successfully registered without incident. “It’s all systems go. Registration is running smoothly, and we are ready for tomorrow’s opening at Nasrec,” Maotwe stated. Both delegates and guests have been registered, with Malema also completing his registration for the event.

As the party prepares for the upcoming conference, there is a sense of optimism within the EFF. Malema’s expected third term and the smooth logistical setup for the conference signal the party’s readiness to continue its political journey, despite the challenges faced over the past year.
