EMPD Festive Season Launch Postponed to November 22 Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

The Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) has announced a delay in the launch of its much-anticipated festive season safety campaign, originally set for November 15. The event has been rescheduled to November 22 due to unforeseen circumstances.

In a statement, the city extended its apologies for the short notice and any inconvenience the change may cause. Zweli Dlamini, the city’s spokesperson, expressed the EMPD’s eagerness to celebrate the festive season with the community on the new date. “The EMPD looks forward to sharing this festive occasion with you on the rescheduled date and appreciates your understanding and continued support,” Dlamini said.

The EMPD’s festive safety campaign is designed to ensure a secure environment for residents and visitors during the holiday season. The event will feature key safety initiatives aimed at enhancing public awareness and promoting crime prevention.
