In a poignant statement shared on social media, Mpho expressed the deep grief her family is experiencing, describing her mother as a cherished matriarch whose absence leaves an indescribable void.
“With heavy hearts and deepest sorrows, we are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth Nonjebo Mvundla. Our mother was everything to us, and we can never forget who and what she was in our lives—a matriarch. Although our hearts are heavy with indescribable pain, we are hopeful that the sun will rise again and we will learn to live with the pain of losing our mother,” Mpho wrote.
The outpouring of support for Mpho has been overwhelming, with fellow celebrities and fans offering their condolences and words of comfort.
