Phillip Thosa, widely known as Brother Enigma, has shared a shocking and profound claim during an interview with Daily Sun in Kwa-Thema, Ekurhuleni. According to Enigma, Jesus Christ physically appeared to him in December 2018, marking the beginning of his spiritual journey and his mission to spread the gospel.
Enigma described a vivid encounter in which Jesus appeared to him “from the wall in my room.” He said that Jesus was wearing a white robe, His eyes were like fire, and His hands bore visible holes, marking the crucifixion wounds.
During the encounter, Enigma claimed that Jesus spoke directly to him, declaring, “All knees shall bow before him.” He then recounted a chilling vision of the afterlife, which Jesus allegedly showed him. According to Enigma, he witnessed people in hell suffering in a long line, awaiting their fate to be burnt by Satan in a massive fire. These souls were reportedly naked, embodying the eternal suffering they were enduring.
On the flip side, Enigma said Jesus also showed him a vision of heaven, where people lived in peace and harmony. This stark contrast between the two realms served as a stark warning, urging Enigma to spread the message of repentance.
Enigma shared that Jesus instructed him to preach the gospel and warn people about the dangers of sin. He believes this encounter was a call to action for him, one that he cannot ignore. “I’m appealing to them, they must seek God while they still have time because if they don’t do it, they’ll suffer,” Enigma stated. He emphasized that in heaven, everyone would stand accountable for their own sins, while those who repented would be saved and welcomed into God’s kingdom.
According to Enigma, this spiritual encounter also marked a profound transformation in his life. He claimed that the Lord gave him the name “Enigma” to replace his original name, Phillip, which he said was “full of sins.” Enigma believes that this new name symbolizes a rebirth and represents his divine purpose to deliver God’s messages to the world. Since this experience, Enigma claims to have witnessed numerous miracles and received prophecies from God, all of which he is compelled to share with others.
He also shared that the Lord instructed him to move from his birthplace in Evaton, Vaal, to Kwa-Thema, where he is now based. Enigma said that this relocation was part of his divine mission to preach to the people of the area and call them to repentance.
Enigma did not hold back in warning people about the imminent return of Jesus Christ. He claimed that God revealed to him that there were “only three minutes left” before Jesus returns to earth. In his view, Satan is a “fallen angel” who delights in leading people astray, and it is through his divine revelations that Enigma believes people will come to the truth.
Brother Enigma’s story continues to stir both awe and skepticism. Whether one believes in his encounter or not, his powerful message of repentance and the urgent need to seek God before it’s too late resonates with many who are searching for spiritual guidance.
