With both players potentially available in the next transfer window, Khan believes Amakhosi should prioritize protecting the team’s chemistry and discipline over bringing in big names with questionable reputations.
Lorch, who is expected to become a free agent once his loan spell with Wydad Casablanca ends in June, and Mbule, who is likely to depart Mamelodi Sundowns after his time with Sekhukhune United, have both been linked with moves away from their current clubs. While their talent is undeniable, Khan doesn’t believe they are the right fit for a Chiefs squad still trying to rebuild its identity.
