South African media personality Lindo Sithole, lovingly known as 2pac, has touched the nation with a heartfelt tribute to his late grandmother, Roselina, by fulfilling a lifelong promise—building a house in her honour.

Sharing his emotional journey on social media, Sithole revealed that the newly built home, located where his childhood family house once stood, now serves as a sanctuary for family gatherings during special occasions like Easter and Christmas.

“My life changed the day I decided to rebuild our family home, even though no one was living there anymore,” said Sithole. “The house holds deep meaning for me because I was born and raised there by my grandmother, Roselina, who loved me so much.”

His decision to reconstruct the house, despite it no longer being occupied, stems from a deep personal vow he made while growing up in poverty—a promise to uplift his family’s legacy when he became financially stable.

Roselina’s words had stayed with him:

“uNdo uzo ngakhela umuzi one day” (“You will build me a house one day”).

Though she has since passed, Sithole fulfilled her dream, creating a space that honours her memory and cements her impact on his life.

The story has gone viral across Mzansi’s social media platforms, sparking praise and admiration for Sithole’s humility, gratitude, and strong sense of family loyalty. Many say his tribute is a reminder of the power of roots, legacy, and giving back to those who raised us.

In a world of fleeting fame and personal success, 2pac’s tribute to his gogo stands out as a beacon of heart, heritage, and home.
